[1] - To let the artist enjoy the best out of the picture.

_{Art is a hobby; and therefore it's meant to be fun; and it's only with commission where people can enjoy the most motivation and enjoyment out of the drawing.}

[2] - To encourage motivation / build confidence on their artwork

_{Getting paid for your artwork is prolly the best thing one can ask for. And only through commissions would artists endeavour to use their best effort into making of the picture; and never give up whever their sketches fail and a re-do is necessary. All of these combined can also help improve the artists's artwork style; and use it for their further advantage!}

[3] - To encourage Challenging Detailed Characters / attempt styles that are out of their current reach [anyone?]

_{Unfortunately this only applies to some people I've commissioned; although a handful of people are willing to challenge detailed character [and fail; but never giving up trying until theyr get it] but the number of people who cower away at sight of detailed characters still outnumber the rest.}

[4] - To build friendship / Accepting live critique

_{Buying artwork makes the artist send sketches for approval before completion [condition 5-1] and receive live critiques on their artwork. This is best done through live messenger like MSN and Skype; thus also enabling normal social conversations outside the commission.}

[5] - Help artists step deeper into the wider Commissioning World!

[By giving me an offer from you - I will assume that you agree to ALL these common-sense conditions i set out below]

_{I understand that as a customer - I will obey to any conditions you as artist impose on me; but at the same time being a customer I have a right to receive what I want and how i want them for the money i spend on you. Which is why I HAVE TO impose these rather-long conditions.
As it says on the tin - they're pretty much common-sense and there's no real necessity to read them all - since many of them are what the artists themselves generally do (or don't do) already anyway. I will still refer to these should any problems arise; since problems of all sorts have happened before.}

[1-1] I pretty much buy from any Sonic [or similar Anthro], Dragon from all discipline regardless of relative skills. [My expectations are low enough to encourage all interested artists to forward their offer ]
_{EXCLUDING Humans and Anime, Wolves and real-life animals.
Disciplines can include all forms of drawings; artisian crafts; flash animations etc.}

[1-2] I am Negotiable - but I have and will decline some offers that I believe not worthy or plain 'crazy'. Or if your style does not interest me [see 1-1]

[2] Depending on the nature of the commission - i may request you NOT to submit the completed work onto dA. I will not allow anyone to submit their finished work on any website other than deviantART

[3-1] Preferred format for all drawings including sketches/scans/WIPs is PNG. [or JPEG at 0% compression if it's not possible]. Sketch scans can be sent at resolution of 200dpi but the completed work is preferred at 300dpi.

[3-2] Watermarks on sketches/WIPs/Completed works are discouraged except in the case of actually uploading it onto deviantART. For the case like sending the sketches/WIPs/Completed works through photobucket and/or directly to me through Skype/MSN. I would prefer not to see watermark due to it interfering with detail inspection. You may, however; as you wish; to identify yourself though actual logo/signature/identification.
_{I am already over-protective on my own fancharacters [Condition 2]; it's highly unlikely I'll ever do anything funny with them. Except if needed shown to other dA artists as references.} .

[4] I may ask you to draw your commission in a particular style - if there's something that did not catch my interest or constant mistakes which I see on your style - Live critiques will be given at receipt of sketches/progress.

[5-1] Please send me sketches of the drawings so i can check details.
_{Everyone draw my fancharacters differently; therefore there will be large number of ambiguities regarding some details. Sending me sketches allows me to inform you the "correct" details to go with the fancharacter, or suggest any possible future design changes.}

[5-2] Just because I haven't given you an idea to draw yet - this does not mean you are permitted to pick random character and draw them! [However predictable they may even be]
_{The above condition is done because by me giving you a character to draw it also allows me to link you the best references and point out detail ambiguities/suggestions with it; if you decide to go randomly search for fanarts and use as reference; chances are you'll make very large number of blunders (see 5-5 below)}

[5-3] If you randomly draw a fancharacter without asking me for the idea/reference; and completed it; I will still gladly accept the artwork but I will NOT recognise that artwork being part of the commission, even if the details turned out to be nearly-perfect [Therefore no credit will be taken away in the track list below]

[5-4] If you're waiting impatiently for my commission idea; kindly send me a note and/or send me an IM message for it. And I will give it to you as soon as I made up my mind which can take minutes.

[5-5] I will not be held responsible for any errors/ambiguities I discover on the finished product which may irritate or discourage you since you failed to allow me to check on the details before completing - I will make you correct those mistakes; even if that means have to re-do the picture all over. [If there are any ambiguities regarding details; Please ask me before completing]

[6-1] Character or Detail editing/adding/redesigning are generally encouraged for the case of new fancharacters [please ask about it if you wish to edit some things on my fancharacter; or redesign them completely]
_{This is not possible to a lot of fancharacters i own; please ask for ones where this is possible.}

[6-2] Alternative Outfits are generally only permitted to fit the relavent scene/atmosphere of the picture [season; time; special event etc etc]; however only on certain fancharacters. **please ask for details**
_{Cosplaying or dressing up as any copyrighted character; official or otherwise; are NOT permitted and to condition 5-2A; the pic will not be recognised as a commission pic; and you maybe asked to remove the work.}

[7] There are No Deadines to my commissions - I would prefer you invest extra time and effort into the making of the picture! [Or I'll ask you to do it again to condition 5-5]

[8] Once we have agreed on a commission; and final price and items negotiated; you cannot withdraw the offer for whatever reason. Even if the price have not yet been paid. But you may request a new negotiation.

1) Subscriptions can be paid to the artist OR someone they refer to.
_{Currently only doing 1-month and 3-months subscriptions until further notice}

2-1) Snail mail Cash are always sent in whole through Registered Air Mail regardless of amount [or Recorded Delivery - 2nd Class for UK people]
(They generally take 2 working days [U.K.] / 4~6 days [E.U.] / 7~9 days [World] / 8~21 days [U.S] to arrive)

2-2) It is unfortunately not possible to use any other form of cash payment other than Cash themselves [including bank transfers; cheques/checks etc.; due to high bank charges]

2-3) No Coins will ever be sent through snail mail - therefore I may purchase multiple pics or round off so I can send the funds in notes only.

2-4) If the offer involves large amount of items being negotiated [e.g. £120 for 16 pics] payments in instalments are generally used [£30 sent for every 4 pics completed for example]

2-5) Payments are preferrably negotiated through Euros, British Pounds or Canadian/US Dollars however payment through the local currency of the artist can be done - but will take longer to prepare and send. Also; tying with 2-3; it wholly depends on the variety of denominations the bank have at time of purchase. New Taiwan Dollar are also available to Taiwanese deviants!

2-6) All envelopes will also include a receipt [see below]

3) Other online payments are also negotiable [such as dA/Amazon wishlists]

4) If you're a Manga collector - it is further possible to pay for the commission through manga volumes **please ask for details**

5-1) PayPal are now accepted - however only as Last Resort when no other available payment choices are possible. Note that there maybe a 10% transaction fee [so you will only receive 90% of the commission payment!]
_{The reason I don't like Paypal is because of the £5/$10 charge per transaction I have to bare everytime I use it. And I am no longer willing to have to spend that extra money. [That is; if the commission price concludes to $25; I will ask for extra add-ons to cover the $10 transaction fee; so I will ask for no less than $35 worth of drawings]}

5-2) You must send me a payment request through email if you wish to be paid through Paypal.

6) On very rare occasions would I allow people to request me paying for the commissioned artwork of their fancharacter(s) since they're too poor to pay themselves; and offer me full drawings in return instead. **please ask for details**

Tag number would be the receipt number that goes into my record book [or sent with the payment]; and are available upon request; they are listed in chronological order of the date of payment.

This commission List is merely used to track (in)active commissions and track number of artworks remaining from artist and therefore it's in no way planned to be used as any sort of advertising space!

Credits are only deducted when I physically receive the completed artwork.
